An Art Déco platinum and diamond ring. 1930 c.a
Eu Size 13, resizable
In the 1930's the style of Art Déco jewels began to change. Rings shapes are rounded, larger and showy. Volumes increase. White metals are used only for important jewels while yellow gold is preferred for mid-range ones. Plasticity and three-dimensional structure make the jewel look more and more like a sculpture.
