This necklace dates from the late nineteenth century,  period that already anticipates the elegance of the Art Nouveau style. It is made of gold and silver, set with old-cut diamonds, and is characterized by an extraordinary delicacy of form and craftsmanship.

The design is strongly inspired by nature: the necklace appears as a graceful cascade of ginkgo biloba leaves and fruits, rendered with great softness and refinement.
