A pair of important chandelier platinum and diamond earrings. 1950 c.a. O geometric design a stunning, dramatic pair of cascading diamond waterfall earrings. 8 cm c.a.

Chandelier earrings are characterized by a bow, a central stone or circular cluster of stones at the top, from which is suspended a cascade of stones. The tops, as well as the drops, can be simple to elaborate in execution. This style of earrings, and pendants, is first noted during Roman times, re-emerged during the Renaissance and persisted until the late Victorian period. The length of the earrings also depends on the length and volume of the different hairstyles in the ages.
